Hi, I’m John. I’m a software engineer, amateur photographer, husband, father, son, football (⚽) and baseball (⚾) enthusiast, would-be world traveler, language learner, and a bunch of other things. I like to cook and I love to eat. I’m low-key AI-pilled. I live in Orlando, Florida with my wife, children, and dogs.

I’m a staff engineer at Airbnb where I work on i18n infra. In my spare time you’ll often find me outside with my Fujifilm XE-5 trying to capture some pretty light. I mostly work with either a 23mm f/1.4 or 90mm f/2. Someday I’d like to be more serious about photography than I am.
